1. Who is responsible
DocFetch is maintained by Jettyson Castillejo. For privacy questions, contact jettyson.castillejo_cyn@isu.edu.ph.
2. Information used by the app
DocFetch's core function uses the document URL you provide to request the corresponding content. The URL may contain information in its address or query parameters, so avoid entering links that include sensitive credentials or private tokens unless you understand and accept the risks.
The file returned by the host is downloaded to your device for use in the app. URLs and downloaded files may remain available in the app or on your device according to the app's behavior and your device settings. You can manage or delete downloaded files using the app or your device's file controls, where available.
DocFetch does not require you to create an account to use its document-retrieval feature. The app publisher does not receive the document contents through the app's core download flow.
3. Network requests and third parties
When you fetch a URL, your device communicates with the website or file host named by that URL. That host may receive your IP address, request details, and other information ordinarily transmitted by your device and network. The host's own privacy policy and terms apply to its handling of that information.
DocFetch cannot control whether a destination requires sign-in, logs requests, redirects to another service, or changes the content it provides. Only download documents you have permission to access.
4. Storage, retention, and deletion
Retrieved documents are saved on your device. The publisher does not operate a document-storage account for the app's core feature. Files may remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app; app removal may not delete files saved in shared device storage. Check your device's storage controls to remove any remaining files.
5. Analytics, advertising, and sale of data
This policy describes the app's document-fetching workflow and does not claim that third-party SDKs, analytics, or advertising are present or absent in every build. If a release adds analytics, advertising, or another data-collecting service, this policy and the applicable app-store disclosures should be updated before release to identify the service and its data practices.
The publisher does not sell personal information collected through the app's core document-retrieval flow.
6. Children's privacy
DocFetch is a general-purpose document utility and is not designed specifically for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to the publisher, contact us so we can review the concern.
7. Security
Use trusted links and avoid sharing URLs containing passwords, access tokens, or other secrets. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure; the publisher cannot guarantee the security practices of websites you contact or the security of your device.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. The latest version and its effective date will be posted on this page. Please review it periodically.
